A short ride north and we made it to Rocklin (just north of Sacramento)!
We had an awesome weekend with some close friends - the perfect way to finish off the trip. Rocklin was beautiful and we're excited to be close to some familiar faces. Thanks for having us Caleb & Emily.
Next we're off to Santa Clara/Cupetino, CA... almost done!

Highlights/Observations Of The Day:
We made the mistake of stopping for coffee at a gas station in the middle of nowhere - tasted like water and all of the milk/cream was powdered
We stopped for coffee in this cute little dutch town called Kingsburg
We went for walks in the development and learned about how they use sheep instead of lawn mowers (true story)
We got to chill with Charlie and Sam (the chonkiest little guinea pigs you ever did see)
We caught a spectacular sunset in the countryside
We got a "snack" at In-N-Out (Emily, if you're reading this, I'm so sorry)
We got to check out a local Brewery and eat some bomb tacos
We went on a crazy hunt for Old Bay Seasoning (Caleb didn't know what it was smh)
We made homemade Salmon and salad one night for dinner
We got drive-through craft coffee from The Human Bean (The North-East really needs to catch on to this trend)
We learned that neither Tyler or Caleb understand directions, but also know exactly what the other means
We spent a lot of quality time with friends and took some time to just relax (we even all took a nap one afternoon)
Total Cost To Charge The Tesla:
$29.31 (3 stops)
Places To Eat:
Kuppa Joy - We made the mistake of stopping at a gas station for coffee in the middle of nowhere so we had to make it up on the way. We passed through this little Dutch town called Kingsburg and Tyler found this great local place. Everything was local, organic, fresh, faith-based and delicious.
Moska Brewing Co. - One night we all went out to this great local Brewery called Moska. Em and I got sours and they were great (I'm not typically a beer kinda gal but they were so yummy). Not sure what the guys got but they were happy!
West Coast Tacos - Moska had a taco truck and we were all honestly in awe at the quality. They were all so delicious. Not sure if they have a brick and mortar location but definitely recommend catching the truck wherever it's gonna be if/when you're in the area.
The Human Bean - It's a little stand alone shack with 2 drive throughs - that's it. They give you a chocolate covered espresso bean on your coffee. The coffee is amazing.
In-N-Out - I'm just gonna leave this link here... yes, again ;)
Blessed for friends, blessed for this adventure, and blessed for this life. One tiny little chapter coming to a close tomorrow before another one flips right open. Can't wait to see ya then!
Sending love always,
