This past weekend I had the great pleasure of playing my first wedding gig.
A few months back, I was asked by a family-friend to partake in their special day. I was a little reluctant at first since I'd never played such a momentous event before, but it was such an amazing experience!
I worked with the bride to come up with the setlist for the cocktail hour and she even insisted on me including a few originals (which was really special for me). She also asked me and another friend of ours to duet the wedding song.
The best part? They didn't tell any of the guests about the live performance. It was such a cool surprise.
I'm so blessed to have been asked to be a part of such a special occasion. I'm already looking forward to the next one...
