Each day, we come into contact with hundreds, if not thousands of different ingredients - a vast majority of those in our home (if we're stocked up on the mainstream products) are comprised of synthetic chemicals that are harmful, if not detrimental, to our health.
It can be scary to take the steps towards a cleaner way of life due to the overwhelming amount of information and products that are on the market - many of which turn out to not be as clean as they purport to be. It can also seem like you'll end up spending astronomically more for these cleaner products. In reality, you can make a lot of this stuff at home with ingredients that are pretty cheap and nice on your overall health.
The journey of clean living is just that - a journey. It's ever-evolving based on new knowledge and research regarding safer and more natural options that are just as cost effective as they are effective in getting the job done!
Here's a list of our current family favorites...
KITCHEN
Homemade Disinfectant Kitchen Cleaner: refillable spray bottle, 2 cups distilled water, 2 tablespoons Castile soap, 10 drops of oregano oil - shake well prior to using
Branch Basics All-Purpose Kitchen Cleaner: refillable spray bottle, Branch Basics concentrate, distilled water (you can add a few drops of essential oil of your choice if you want it to smell nice)
BATHROOM
Branch Basics All-Purpose Bathroom Cleaner: refillable spray bottle, Branch Basics concentrate, distilled water (you can add a few drops of essential oil of your choice if you want it to smell nice)

LAUNDRY
Whether this is the start of your non-toxic living journey or the next chapter in it, I hope you find this post helpful!
Sending love always,
