My Favorite TV Shows Right Now | Roundup
It's insane how high the production quality of TV shows are nowadays. I don't watch much TV but I have gotten into a few shows that are just too insane not to share. I won't bore you with my repetitive and classic favorites like The Office (although, I mean c'mon, a total masterpiece of a show)! I will share a few new gems though...
HULU
"The Dropout" - This miniseries is based on the ABC Audio podcast of the same name. It is about the rise and fall of Elizabeth Holmes and her company, Theranos. The show touches on experiences that likely motivated Holmes's deceptions and lies in a linear fashion, starting from her preteens and all the way to her exposure as a fraud... Another true story.

APPLE TV+
WeCrashed - This miniseries follows the love story at the center of the rise and fall of one of the world's most valuable startups. WeWork grows from a single co-working space into a global brand worth $47 billion in under a decade. Then, in less than a year, its valuation plummets. The show is also based on a podcast series of the same name -another true story (can you tell what I'm into right now LOL)

Ted Lasso - The series follows Ted Lasso, an American college football coach who is hired to coach an English soccer team in an attempt by its owner to spite her ex-husband. Lasso tries to win over the skeptical English market with his folksy, optimistic demeanor while dealing with his inexperience in the sport. Such a motivational and overall feel-good show. (This one's not based on a true story)
There are 2 seasons (with a 3rd on the way)

The Shrink Next Door - Inspired by the true story of Marty and the therapist who turned his life around then took it over; when he first meets Dr. Ike, Marty just wants to get better at boundaries; he learns all about them and what happens when they get crossed. This miniseries is also based off of a podcast of the same name. (and just like that, the
pattern's back)

NETFLIX
"Inventing Anna" - This miniseries explores how Sorokin, who is from Russia, pretended to be a wealthy German heiress named Anna Delvey, and convinced friends and businesses in New York to give her money that funded a lavish lifestyle. A reporter dives into the story to uncover the truth but doesn't have a clue what she's gotten herself into - the craziest detail? This show is based on a true story.

I hope these give you some ideas on what to check out next time you're scrolling on your favorite streaming service. These shows are produced at such a great level (especially the Apple TV+ shows) and are just overall interesting and entertaining stories. Here's to some engaged content consumption!
Sending love always,
