If you're an independent artist, it can be difficult to reach new audiences without shoveling out a decent chunk o' change on blog, magazine and playlist placement.

When I released my album, I stumbled across one of the sites below and I knew there had to be others. With a little bit of digging, turns out there are!

• Indiemono is a huge independent playlist communities. They love breaking out new artists - especially if you have less than 1,000 streams. They require you “unlock” the submit forms by following each playlist you are trying to submit to.

2. Daily Playlists - https://dailyplaylists.com/add-song/

• Daily Playlists features a huge amount of playlists you can submit to, along with their own curated playlists for Rock, Hip Hop, Indie and Electronic. Their interface is super easy to use which allows you to submit 1 track to multiple playlists at once.

3. MySphera - https://www.mysphera.co/our-curators

• MySphera is a network of playlist curators and influencers who take submissions via this website. It’s got tons of playlists for various genres and info about the curators.

4. For The Love Of Bands - https://fortheloveofbands.com/submit/

• They promote, review and feature any artist for free. They also offer helpful tips to assist artists in promoting their tracks on social media, Spotify, Soundcloud, and more.

• He is an independent Spotify playlist curator and runs a 100,000+ followers ‘Pop/R&B/Club’ playlist which is constantly updated.

At some point, you're going to need to make a monetary investment in your music. That being said, these sites are awesome if you're looking for a place to start getting out there.
